QR Square is a very simple and easy to use QR code scanner app. Besides QR code, it can also read standard barcodes. To scan a QR code or barcode, simply point the camera at the code and that’s it. After scanned, QR Square will automatically save the code and open the appropriate application that can handle the code content. For example, you will be taken to the website if the QR code contains a website URL. If the QR code contains plain text, you will see it immediately. You can then search the text with Google. If the QR code contains a geolocation, QR Square will display a map with a location marker. If the QR code contains a Facebook URL and the Facebook application is installed on your device, QR Square will automatically open the Facebook application for you. For other formats such as phone numbers, SMS, email addresses, or contact information, QR Square will prompt you to take the appropriate action.
